Chords

Chords are the building blocks of almost every song you love. When you strum a chord on the guitar, you’re not just playing random notes—you’re stacking tones together to create a mood. A chord is basically a team of notes that work together, each with its own job: one sets the foundation, one decides if the chord sounds happy or sad, and another adds power and stability. By learning chords, you unlock the ability to play thousands of songs, from pop and rock to blues and jazz. They’re like colors on a painter’s palette—the more you know, the more emotions and stories you can express through music.
